Living in Grantham
Grantham is the Midlands‘ best kept secret - a vibrant market town in which to shop and socialise, bordered by green countryside and just 30 minutes from Nottingham and one hour from London.

Location
The town‘s location is ideal. Situated in the centre of England, close to the A1 main road it is easy for students to travel anywhere in the UK. There are also excellent air and rail links, with London just one hour away by train. The cities of Nottingham, York, Lincoln, Leeds, Manchester,Birmingham and Edinburgh are all within easy travelling distance.
Cultural Visits
You are encouraged to enjoy the British way of life and to experience cultural differences. The College plans a wide range of activities so that you get to know the local area. These include visits to stately homes, castles and the historic local cities of Nottingham and Lincoln.
Student Accommodation
Grantham College offers student accomodation either on campus in Sedgewick Mews and Sedgewick Hall, or with local family units. For those students who wish to stay with a family unit there is "homestay" accommodation. With this option you may be offered one, two or three meals per day and a full or partial cleaning/laundry service. All "homestay" accommodation is inspected regularly by our Student Accommodation Manager. The College‘s Student Accommodation Manager will assist you as fully as possible regarding your accommodation requests as well as ensuring that all students are registered with a doctor and the police as necessary. Sedgwick Mews
Sedgwick Mews is a shared house approach to accommodation. The Mews is divided into 4 blocks of 6 rooms. Each block has 2 shower rooms, a kitchen and a living area.
Sedgwick Hall
Sedgwick Hall accommodates approximately 50 students. Rooms are arranged into units of 8 with students sharing a kitchen/sitting room area. Each room has its own en-suite with shower, toilet and washbasin.
