Lecturer in Computing HMSC/37
Salary: £20,212 - £32,460 pa
Scale Point: 19 - 35
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic and well-qualified person to teach computing. The successful candidate will work within our small, dedicated team delivering BTEC level 2 and 3 Diplomas, A level ICT and HNC/D Computing and Systems Development.
A background in computing is essential along with knowledge and experience of teaching and assessing: programming languages, including Object Orientated and event Driven, e.g. C#, Objective-C; databases and SQL; web based technologies and HCI; hardware e.g. networking / computing maintenance/ security.
The person appointed will also have course leadership responsibilities for the BTEC L3 Extended Diploma and will help the team to develop new courses, including HE and adult provision.

The Business Development Centre is looking to appoint a Business Development Adviser to support our work with Employers. The role involves supporting young people and Employers through customised learning programmes. We are looking for a customer focussed individual with excellent communication and organisational skills and a flexible approach to the role.
